May, June, July and August have flown by so quickly that I can’t believe it has been nearly four months since I last updated my Blog. Before you know it Christmas will be upon us and we’ll all be wondering where the year went!

Recently I had the pleasure of participating in a Feng Shui tour of Singapore with Grand Master Vincent Koh. It proved to be quite a hot and sticky day, even by Singapore standards, but as always GM Koh and his lovely wife Nancy took excellent care of us with an air conditioned bus, bottles of water and a delicious buffet lunch at Boat Quay.
After meeting bright and early at the Redhill MRT Station, the first site for the day was a nearby HDB block of flats. As always the first thing that GM Koh examined was the facing direction or front of the building in order to assess how the site received its Qi (energy) and this was determined by the location of the main entrance which led to the lift lobby. In this case we were not looking at the individual apartments, but at the building as a whole and were focused on the macro Feng Shui, rather than the micro. Once the facing of the building was established he then examined the external surrounding landform and how the site and main lobby entrance received and retained the Qi.

Singapore is a great place to celebrate the Chinese New Year and as part of the cities many festivities, I was asked to do Bazi Readings for the general public at the Singapore Flyer!
Grand Master Vincent Koh from the Singapore Feng Shui Centre recently completed some re-design work on the entrance, access and public spaces of the Singapore Flyer complex and he invited several of his students, (myself included), to undertake readings during the festive season.
I was very fortunate to have Augustine Tay as my colleague for the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our IV Pillars and Feng Shui conversations! He is an incredibly gifted, knowledgeable and insightful practitioner and also a very generous friend who shared many tips and tidbits with me.
It was such a wonderful experience and a great honour to read for so many people! In fact I found it to be so worthwhile that these types of face to face readings are definitely something that I plan on doing again!

Some of you may already be familiar with Stephen Skinner through his amazing research into classical Feng Shui, which dates as far back as 1975. Infact Stephen actually wrote the first English book on Feng Shui published in the 20th century, which was titled ‘Living Earth Manual of Feng Shui’. Since then he has gone on to write many more books on this topic including Feng Shui for Modern Living, Feng Shui the Traditional Oriental Way, Keep it simple Guide to Feng Shui, Feng Shui Before & After, Flying Star Feng Shui and a must for any serious practitioner, Guide to the Feng Shui Compass.

As many of my clients, colleagues and friends are aware, for the past year and a half I have been living between Singapore and Melbourne. This wonderful opportunity has really allowed me the time to further my studies and therefore over the previous five months I have been under the guidance and tutelage of Grand Master Vincent Koh from the Singapore Feng Shui Centre.
